K's still a little afraid of my dad, but she seems to be warming up to mom. I think I've got her on a schedule already. I bought her a new cup because the one that I took just makes a mess all over. She's eating pretty well.
Ashley's birthday party is Saturday. I'm gonna get her a spice girls CD. I'm coming back on June 5.

I'm getting enough sleep for the two of us.
Yesterday was Ashley's birthday party. I bought her a Spice Girls CD, per her request. In fact, the theme was Spice Girls. Boy, has she changed! She was very shy at first, and then she was carrying K around. She's such a girly-girl, but so, so cute!
It was wonderful to see Vicki again. It's so great that after all this time, she and I are still the best of friends. She teaches at the school where she and I attended grades 4 and 5 together and she wants to show me around tomorrow after school.
Mom wants to have K's picture taken at Wal-Mart today after lunch. I missed home cooking. I think I'm a competant cook on my own, but it is so great to have someone do it for you!
Mom bought K a push toy.
Other than that, there's nothing exciting happening. K's sleeping in a bed by herself, but she's still not really on this schedule yet. She can climb down by herself. Still a little nervous to walk, but she loves her grandparents.

Everything is good. K is changing so fast, you wouldn't believe it! Mom bought her two teletubbies books and she brings them to me as if to ask me to read them to her. I think she's also learning and repeating words.
She loves her little pool. In fact, yesterday we moved her slide to the edge of the pool and I help her slide down the slide and into the pool.
She has a hoot! She's eating A lot. Still have a hard time with fruits. Anyway, she's asleep now. We took some pictures at Wal-Mart.

I hung out with Vicki again today. She had a few things to shop for, so we tagged along to the mall. K walked most of the time, but only a little on her own. She still needs me there. Ashley is just crazy about K; she asked Vicki tonight as we were leaving the mall, "can I watch a movie with Katie?" And she was just itching to push her in her stroller (when she was in it).
Other than that, our days have been quiet because it's started raining in the afternoons.
