What a weird day.

Our plane from California was empty. I have never seen such an empty plane. We had a whole row and a personal private flight attendant just standing around waiting for us to ask for something.

We had to wait in Orlando for my dad to come in 'cause he couldn't get on the same plane. We went to McDonald's for breakfast while we were waiting. They had an enclosed playland with its own kiddie Muzak, and you will not believe what I heard: that "Masese" song by Kapena and the surf song by Robi. Weird, eh?

My dad misplaced his keys on the last day of their stay in Hawaii, so we were locked out. But he had the maintenance guy open the door.

We're here, and comfortable. Katie is playing with some blocks and Zac is sleeping. It's almost dinnertime.

I'm so tired. But if the kids sleep tonight, we're good. I slept a little on the plane and in the car, but that's it. I just hope Zac will adapt.
