It's been kinda hard the last few days. On Monday, Katie went to the doctor. We've been only there and to Wal-Mart to get her drugs the last few days. Oh, and we went to McDonald's last night in an effort to get her to eat.

Katie's feeling better now. She hasn't coughed at all since last night and she's in much better spirits. We might go out today if she gets her appetite back.

It's so freaking hot that I'm not sure I want to go out. The race cars should be back today and Katie wants to do that. We'll wait and see, I guess.

Zac is doing fine. Dad gushes endlessly about Zac; how cute and sweet he is. He keeps saying, "He's so good-natured." He's been eating like a little piglet, too. He eats cheerios by the fistful and veggies and mashed potatoes, even. He drinks smoothies in 15 minutes flat. We have to buy some frozen fruit and yogurt so we can make him some at home. No major milestones reached, though.

Vicki came to visit on Sunday.

We headed down to the beach. Found some washed-up jellyfish. Ashley wanted to go to the pool. It was warmer and nicer than it had been all week so we stayed in there for a while. Then we were hungry so we grabbed some lunch at Wendy's. Let me tell you, the Beach St. Wendy's must be the world's busiest Wendy's. It was FULL and there was a 10 minute line.

After we ate, we went to a surf shop where Vik bought K a t-shirt. There's a Hawaiian/Asian art store by my mom's and I hadn't been in there yet so we stopped in. It's owned by a Korean lady from Mililani. We talked about Hawaii stuff and I bought my mama calendar.

The kids were getting grumpy so we headed home. Ash and Vik watched me feed Zac his supper, took some pictures, and left shortly thereafter.
