Hollywood Homicide

What happened to Han Solo? He's doing pieces of crap like this. Harrison Ford can't be that hard up, can he? Or maybe Harrison is more wise than we all know. Maybe the writers of this film are trying to parody the whole cop/buddy movie genre by using every cop/buddy movie cliche ever. That is some seriously subtle humor there, if that's the case, because I didn't get it. Gruff, world-weary older cop paired with wet-behind-the-ears twenty-something? Check. Overuse of blaring hip-hop score? Check. Big, Bad, Evil Internal Affairs cops who Just Don't Understand? Check. Oh, look, there's the rookie-puking-in-the-morgue scene! How original! Dwight Yoakum is in this film. Whaddaya know, he was bald as a baby's ass under that hat. Comments
Skip the "Hollywood" and go for the "Homicide". "Homicide: Life on the Streets", that is.
The DVDs for this show are nice. A featurette narrated by Richard Belzer. Commentary on the first episode. Didn't really have much need for the "American Justice" episode bundled with it. (Damn A&E pimps.)
