This bus strike business is getting out of hand. Don't ask me my opinion of the bus drivers right now unless you have a couple hours to kill. Mainly, it's a giant pain in the butt for everyone; even people who have cars. No buses=more people who need rides=more cars. This situation causes complications in very unexpected ways. This morning, I heard a commercial for a concrete company here in town. It mentioned the strike and went on to say, basically, "please carpool because our cement mixer trucks are on the road and we only have 90 minutes before this stuff sets". |
