I've been following this story since the beginning, back in August. As most of you know, we tried to get Katie into Kamehameha last year, unsuccessfully. Katie is in kindergarten and the kid in question is in seventh grade, so while I don't believe the kid "stole" my daughter's spot, I still resent the hell out of him. And I can't believe the arrogance and stupidity of his mother. On the other hand. I watch the news and I see the angry people lined up outside the courtroom, screaming at the kid and his mom and generally acting like thugs, and I realize that they're not exactly helping their cause. If they really wanted to help their cause, they'd stay away and write a lot of letters.
