About an item in the local news the last few days: Let me get this straight: Hawaii has a near-critical teacher shortage, which, by some accounts, is going to get worse. A staggering number of schools are failing to meet President Smirky's standards and could lose their funding. So obviously, the solution to this is to piss them off even more. Yeah, let's invade their privacy and make unreasonable demands! Yeah! Great idea! Not only will our kids be fat, they'll be stupid, too. Good thinking, Rida Cabanilla!
